| Deluxe Hiking Camp |
This minimum 3 day, two night, vacation is for the hiking enthusiast who
would like to enjoy an area they have never been before without the worry of
reviewing numerous maps, packing heavy camping gear, or food.
Our wrangler packs your gear in on horseback to our campsite.
We supply tents, cots, foam pads, cater all of the food, and have a cook to
serve up hot delicious well-balanced meals daily. So you can eat great and
forget the dried stuff! Please make any food allergies known at the time of reservation.
Our guide will hike with you through some of the most beautiful country in the
Pecos Wilderness and all you have to carry is a your day pack! The camp is just under
10,500 ft in elevation and takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to reach depending on a
hiking group's speed on the trail.
A wrangler returns on the last day of your vacation to pack up your gear and
bring it out on horseback while you hike out with your guide. We don't lose
your luggage! We'll often even have it loaded in your vehicle by the time you've
hiked out! For emergency communications, our guides carry portable FM radios
with units in our vehicles and a base station at Tererro.
