| Summer Drop Camps |
This service provides horses and wrangler(s) to transport your
equipment and/or you to a predetermined location up to 10 miles from
the trailhead into the Pecos Wilderness. One wrangler can handle up to
7 horses. This service is ideal for hikers who wish to enjoy the Pecos
Wilderness in style or for an extended period. We can also provide
saddle horses for you to ride to and from the drop off area. Once at
the designated location the wrangler drops off any riders who rode along,
and your gear. The wrangler does not leave any horses with you during your
stay in the Pecos Wilderness. We can return on a preset date to pack you
and your gear out. Backpackers sometimes only contract for a one way trip.

| Summer Equipped Drop Camp |
This service is similar to the above summer drop camp but designed
to make your wilderness experience as posh and stress free as possible.
We will provide the following at our location which is often further
into the wilderness than the typical drop camps: one 12 x 14 wall tent
as your dining room and kitchen, and another 12 x 14 wall tent for your
sleeping quarters, 2 lanterns & fuel, a propane stove & an 11 pound
bottle of propane, 1 folding tables, cooking skillets, pots, dishes,
and utensils, cots, foam pads, shovel, axe and saw for wood cutting.
There is a four-person minimum, three-day minimum stay, for this service.
